Humanizing an energy giant.
I was enlisted by Frost* Collective to develop and execute an overarching concept for the reporting suite (Annual Report, Sustainability Report and Shareholder Review) of one of Australia’s largest utility companies. The team and I came up with a campaign based around the Origin tagline: Good Energy.
Drawing on my interviewing experience as a journalist, I spoke to a diversity of Origin employees across Australia and asked each what Good Energy means to them, and how do they go about contributing to it?
In addition to featuring the employees, I was given the task of writing all the supporting material for the reporting suite.
Employees were thrilled to see themselves in the reporting suite and on Origin’s popular blog. At the 2018 AGM, shareholders expressed how much they enjoyed the more human approach.
The campaign was considered such a success, that I was invited back to Origin Headquarters to give a masterclass on professional writing.
